Subject: Is it possible to migrate from Lotus Notes/Domino 5.0.13 Global English Edition directly to Lotus Notes/Domino 8.0.1?

I have been waiting (patiently), for my third party vendor (Captaris - RightFax), to support Lotus v7 & v8, so I can get off of Lotus v5 (which is no longer supported). I do not want to go to v6.5 just to migrate a second time to v7 or v8. My question, is it possible, and is their direct documentation which supports migration from Lotus Notes/Domino v5.0.13 Global English Edition to v8.0.1 of Lotus Notes/Domino, without an interim step to another version in between?
